Grady K. Hughes The funeral for Grady K. Hughes will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the
First Church of the Nazarene in Medford.

Mr. Hughes, 80, of Shady Cove, died Saturday (Nov. 30, 2002) at Rogue Valley
Medical Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 E.
McAndrews Road, Medford, OR 97504.

He was born April 1, 1922, in Locust Grove, Okla., to James and Grace (Lawson)
Hughes. On July 16, 1944, in Wichita, Kan., he married Erna A. (Greisen)
Hughes, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1993 from Glendale,
Calif.

Mr. Hughes owned and operated G.K. Hughes Steel Fabrication in California.

He enjoyed church, helping people, making things and spending time with his
family.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Karan Diane Fleming,
Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Virgie Harris, in Tennessee; and one grandchild.
