Miller, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today in Stephens Memorial Chapel in Pryor with the Rev. Carol Riech officiating. Mr. Miller was born in Little Rock, Ark. He attended Western Military Academy in Columbia, Mo. He graduated from high school in Little Rock and then attended a junior college there. He had lived in Spavinaw for the last 22 years, moving from Amarillo. While in Amarillo, he was active with Kids, Inc. Mr. Miller was an insurance adjuster before retiring. He had worked for General Adjustment Bureau and American Insurance Association. He was a member of United Methodist Church in Spavinaw and the Masonic Lodge in Tyler, where he had received his 50-year pin. He was a former member of the Shriners. Mr. Miller married Leota Marshall in 1940 at Houston, Texas. Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Medora Williams of Amarillo; a son, John M. Miller of Amarillo; six grandchildren; and six great- grandchildren. The family requests memorials be to the Salvation Army; or Cal Farley's Boys Ranch, P.O. Box 1, Boys Ranch, Texas 79010.
