Joyce Steely May 2, 1930 - Aug. 30, 2006

Joyce Wallace Steely, 76, of Modesto died Wednesday at Emanuel 
Medical Center, Turlock.

Mrs. Steely was a native of Pryor, Okla., and had lived in Modesto 
since 1977. She was a cook.

She is survived by her children, John David Steely of San Andreas, 
Jimmie Andrew Steely of Modesto and Everett L. Steely of Alabama; and 
nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was pre-ceded in 
death by her first husband, John Steely; second husband, Frank Welch; 
and son Joe Brent Steely.

Visitation from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Colonial Chapel of 
Franklin & Downs, with a funeral at 3:30 p.m.

Remembrances may be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 1663, 
Modesto 95353.
