Wilkie Lee Moore The funeral service for Wilkie Lee Moore will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Perl Funeral Home in Medford. David Bocook will officiate. Mr. Moore, 90, of Medford, died Monday (June 24, 2002) at his home. Memorial contributions may be made to Providence Community Health Foundation, Hospice, 1111 Crater Lake Ave., Medford, OR 97504. He was born Jan. 1, 1912, in Strang, Okla., to Ellis and Jennie Moore. On Aug. 28, 1932, in Teresita, Okla., he married Mamie Duncan, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1955. Mr. Moore was a building contractor most of his life, owning and operating W.L. Moore Building Co. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing and hunting. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, Noel, Central Point; four daughters, Elaine DeCarlow, Linda Greer and Karen Arnold, all Medford, and June Zeleznik, Jacksonville; a brother, Audie, Cortez, Colo.; three sisters, Bessy Looney, Locust Grove, Okla., and Pearl McMann and Mary Ashbaugh, both Cortez, Colo.; 15 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son; two brothers, a sister and a grandson. Friends may pay their respects from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Perl Funeral Home.
