::Ochiltree Cemetery--Perryton TX

Erma Ott Wood

PERRYTON - Erma Ott Wood, 80, died Monday, Dec. 1, 1997.

Services will be at 3 p.m. today in Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home 
Chapel with Terry Danley officiating. Burial will be in Ochiltree 
Cemetery.

Mrs. Wood was born in Burlington, Okla. She had lived in the Perryton 
area for nine years, moving from Grand Lake, Okla.

She married Hugh Wood in 1939 at Springfield, Mo. He died in 1996.

Mrs. Wood graduated from Wichita Business College in 1936. She worked 
as a bookkeeper for Zigler and Oakes in Guymon until retiring in 
1972. She was a Methodist.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Pearson of Perryton; two sisters, 
Laverne Roth and Esther Hood, both of Kiowa, Kan.; two brothers, 
Arnold Ott of Alva, Okla., and Marvin Ott of Kiowa; and two 
grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be to the Alzheimer's Association.
