B. Kilgore presiding as judge. The other officers of the court were as follows: U. P. Bruce, deputy clerk and court crier, Floyd L. Phillips, deputy clerk, R. M. Moore, chief Deputy marshall, with a full force of other deputies, and W. R. Blackmore, stenographer. The first business in order was empaneling the Grandy Jury, which body was made up of the following: J. S. Gregory, W. A. Hindman, A. M. Corly, W. G. Blanchard, D. A. Young, John Crawford, J. S. Williams, J. C. Yeager, James Camden, L. C. Wantland, John Myers, D. F. Harness, Thos. Sparks, W. C. Randolph, C. M. McClain, J. H. Hill and W. B. Morter.
