Allen, Doris Oucille Gamble

Dec. 28, 1921 < June 9, 2007

Doris Oucille Gamble Allen died June 9, 2007, in Henderson, Ky.

She was born Dec. 28, 1921, in Blanchard, Okla. Doris resided in 
Fairfield from 1941 to 2002. She worked as a cook at the Cordelia 
Truck Stop and Muffin Treat Restaurant for over 25 years.

Doris is survived by sons, Jerry D. Allen of Murray, Ky. and Dennis 
E. Allen of Fairfield; grandson, Scott R. Allen of Washington D.C.; 
granddaughter, Geri D. Prescott of Henderson, Ky.; great-
grandchildren, Allen Reeves and Emily Reeves of Henderson, Ky., 
Alejandro, Aaron and Sarah Beth Allen of Washington D.C.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Fairmont Memorial Park. In 
lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer 
Society.
