A funeral service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Chapel, Friday, January 6, 2006 at 11 a.m. Pastor Bob Gass will officiate. Jo was born in Blanchard, Oklahoma on July 31, 1931 and moved to Oregon as a small child. She married Jack E. Arnold on July 30, 1950. He preceded her in death in 1998. Survivors include two children, Eddy Arnold and wife, Cathy; Sandy Lommel and husband, David. She has six grandchildren, Carly Torres and husband, Laramie; Kelly Gray and wife, Ashley; Tami Ott; Greg Arnold and wife, Patsy; Melissa Johnston and husband, Dan; and Nick Berryhill and wife, Kelley. She also is survived by ten great grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren. Jo is the daughter of Homer and Clemie Bowser of Bell Gardens, California and is the youngest of eight children, all of whom preceded her in death. In the early 1970's, Jo was involved in music with her husband and children, and loved playing the bass guitar around Medford in their country western band named "Mavericks."
