Purcell Register, Thursday, February 11, 1943. Funeral services for Louis "Jude" Boudreau, pioneer Purcell carpenter, were conducted Tuesday morning in Our Lady of Victory Church with Father Hugo officiating. He died early Sunday morning in an Oklahoma City hospital. Boudreau, 77, came to Purcell in 1894 and became one of the early-day carpenters to aid in the building of this city. He had been retired for the past 15 years. He is survived by one brother, Alex Boudreau of Oklahoma City, and a large number of nephews and nieces, many of whom live in Purcell. Casket bearers were: Pat Shea, Ed Price, Mat Ozment, Austin Beaver, Louis Groothouse, and John Frank. Interment was made in Hillside Cemetery with the Rackley funeral home in charge of the arrangements.
