The dreaded disease, pellegra, was announced by attending physicians, dispelled all hope of a final recovery. The patient bore her illness with patience and fortitude and was surrounded by her family, her sisters and brothers, and many friends, when the end came Wednesday afternoon at 2:30, who did everything the mortal hands could do to make the last hours on earth comfortable. Fortified by all the sweet consolation of her relations, having received at the hands of Father Van Wees, the last sacraments of the Catholic church - Extreme Unction - the patient sufferer died the death of one well prepared to appear before her God. Besides her faithful husband, Napoleon Boudreau, the deceased leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Mrs. W.C. Lovell, of Memphis, Tenn., Mrs. W.C. Cooley of Pauls Valley and two sons, Theogil and Henry, one brother, J.H. Marquis, and three sisters, Mrs. Wm. Peltier of Shawnee, Mrs. John Boudreau, and Mrs. Robert Peltier of Purcell. Also a host of friends. The funeral took place Thursday morning at 9 o'clock from the Catholic church, where Rev. Father Van Wees officiated, offering up a requiem mass for the repose of the soul of the deceased. Interment took place at Hillside Cemetery Friday. Card of Thanks - The Purcell Register - June 25, 1914 Mr. Napoleon Boudreau, sons and daughters, take this means of thanking their many friends who rendered so valuable assistance during the recent illness and death of their beloved wife and mother, also for the many beautiful floral offerings received for the funeral.
