The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Boudreau Burial Here Saturday - The Purcell Register - July 7, 1977 Homer Francis "Tookie" Boudreau, Jr., 57, Oklahoma City, died last Thursday in the Veterans Hospital, Oklahoma City, following an extended illness. He was a former Purcell businessman and son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Homer Boudreau, pioneer Purcell residents. A native of Purcell, his early life was spent here. After leaving Purcell he was a salesman and appliance dealer in Tulsa. He served in World War II and was awarded two purple hearts. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church and the VFW post at Purcell. Rosary services were held Friday evening in the Yoakum memory chapel with Father John O'Brien officiating. Mass was held Saturday morning with interment in the family plot at Hillside cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Hazel, of the home in Oklahoma City; one son, Bill, also of Oklahoma City; a brother, Kenneth of Milpatis, Calif.; a sister, Roberta Hilterbrand, Oklahoma City; and three grandchildren.
