Although he had been retired for the past five months becasue of poor health, the end came unexpectedly. Requiem mass is to be conducted Thursday morning at 9 o'clock in Our Lady of Victory church, Father Louis Hugo officiating. Interment will be in Hillside cemetery. Medis Boudreau was born in Clyde, Kansas and moved here with his parents when only a year old. He began working in a Purcell butcher shop when a young man and plied this trade until failing health forced his retirement. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Irene Boudreau; a daughter, Mrs. Antia Allen of Oklahoma City; two sons, Bill of the home address, and Jimmie Boudreau, of Wichita, Kansas; three brothers, John and Homer Boudreau, both of Purcell; Albert Boudreau, Oklahoma City; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Sullins, Pampa,Tex.; Mrs. Carrie Beulmer, Oklahoma City; and Miss Alda Boudreau and Mrs. Mary Williams both of Purcell. Honorary bearers were: John Kennedy, Guy Northcutt, Martin Larran, D. Dumas, Louis Groothouse, Harold Miner, Ed Price, A.H. Edgmon, John Emerson and Laurence and Albert Mantooth. Nephews of the deceased were active casket bearers; Buddy and Howard Williams, Kenneth and Homer Francis Boudreau, and Andrew and Phillip Boudreau.
