Settled In '87. Many Friends and Relatives in Attendance At Funeral Services Here. The Purcell Register Funeral services for John A. Boudreau, pioneer and highly respected resident of Purcell for the past 48 years, were conducted from the Catholic church here Monday morning at 9 o'clock with Rev. Father Nic Schmitt officiating. A host of friends and relatives were in attendance at the service. for many years Mr. Boudreau was actively engaged in the management of a trucking and transfer business in Purcell until his retirement about ten years ago. Throughout his many years of residence in this city he acquired many friends, all of whom were grieved by his death. The deceased came to this section from Illinois in 1887. Was 77 Years Old Mr. Boudreau passed away after suffering a declining health. He was born January 2, 1858 at Bour Bonnaise, Ill., and passed away at the age of 77 years, 11 months and 19 days. He was married to Miss Josephine Marquis on October 30, 1877, who preceded him in death several years ago. Surviving relatives of the immediate family include four sons, John, Hermedis, and Homer, all of Purcell, and Albert of Oklahoma City; and four daughters, Alda Boudreau, Mrs. Mary Williams, Purcell, Mrs. Carrie Beumeler, Arkansas City, and Mrs. Rose Sullins, Pampa, Texas. 27 Grandchildren Survive The deceased is also survived by three brothers, Alex Boudreau of Oklahoma City, Louis Boudreau of Purcell, and Paul Boudreau, Chicago; and two sisters, Mrs. Velma Cardinal, Purcell and Miss Josephine Boudreau, Purcell. Twenty-seven grandchildren also survive. Out-of-town relatives who attended funeral services included Marcel Bonneau and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bonneau of Ardmore; Mr. and Mrs. L.H. Sullins, Pampa, Texas; Mrs. Carrie Beumeler of Arkansas City; Alex Boudreau, Oklahoma City, and Ferdinand Boudreau, Oklahoma City. Interment was made in Hillside cemetery.
