A Mass of Christian Burial was held the morning of August 26 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas, Tex. under the direction of Crane-Welland Funeral Home. Mrs. Bonneau, who was born Oct. 16, 1903, died at Baylor Hospital August 22. She graduated from St. Elizabeth's Academy in Purcell and received a degree in nursing from St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City. Upon graduation she went to work for the Public Health Department in Oklahoma City. Mrs. Bonneau received a master's degree from Columbia University and spent the following three years in South America with the International Children's Organization. After returning from South America she worked as a Public Health Nursing Consultant, Crippled Children's Bureau of Health, Education and Welfare Department, based in Washington, D.C. She retired in 1968. She was an active member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Survivors include one sister, Mary Marcelle Owen of Ardmore; one brother, J.P. Bonneau of Covina, Calif. and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. (I don't know why the article shows her as Mrs. as she never married.)
