Inurnment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Medford. Mrs. Bowen, 89, of Medford, died Thursday (Sept. 5, 2002) at her residence. She was born Hazel Edith Rodgers on June 29, 1913, in McClain County, Oklahoma. On Aug. 17, 1982, in Arkansas, she married Lee Bowen, who survives. Mrs. Bowen worked as a waitress. She lived in Grants Pass from 1945 to 1980 before moving to Oklahoma. She moved back to Medford in 2002. Her hobbies included crocheting, gardening and playing cards, dominos and golf. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a daughter, Loretta Morton, Medford; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Tudor. Arrangements: Memory Gardens Mortuary, Medford.
