::Hooker Cemetery--Hooker OK

Robert Lewis Brixey

NEWCASTLE, Okla. - Robert Lewis "Robby" Brixey, 42, died Monday, 
April 26, 1999, near Hooker.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First United Methodist 
Church at Hooker with the Rev. David Cook officiating. Burial will be 
in Hooker Cemetery by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home of Hooker.

Mr. Brixey was born in Liberal, Kan. He was raised and attended 
school in Hooker, graduating in 1975.

He married Connie Judd in Hooker, where he farmed and worked in the 
oil fields. He later married Jamie North in Hooker and worked for 
Service Drilling Co.

He moved to Newcastle, where he worked for Koch Oil Co. He later 
worked for Johnson Motors as a salesman in both Enid and Stillwater. 
He returned to Hooker because of his health.

Survivors include three daughters, Megan Brixey of Marrysville, Mo., 
Mindy Snook of Hooker, and Brittany Brixey of Forgan; his parents, 
Buddy and Dell Brixey of Hooker; two sisters, Teresa Simpson of 
Hooker, and Janie Brixey of Auburn, Ala.; grandmother, Della Jenkins 
of Brownwood, Texas; and a grandson.

The family requests memorials be to High Plains Hospice at Guymon or 
a favorite charity. Memorials will be accepted by Roberts Brothers 
Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, OK 73945.
