All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona--Phoenix AZ Brumfield, Nicky Ray Nicky Ray Brumfield, 58, October 14, 1948 - December 24, 2006, a 20- year US Air Force veteran, died Christmas Eve at Phoenix Baptist Hospital. His air force career included service in Viet Nam during the Viet Nam war. He was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation. At the time of his death, he had been employed by the United States Postal Service in Phoenix for over 18 years. Nick was born in Purcell, Oklahoma, to Luther Ray and Irene (McCann) Brumfield, and graduated high school with the Class of 1966 from Pampa High School, Pampa, TX. Nick is survived by his father Luther (and Agnes) of Pampa, TX; his wife Rene; daughter Mei (and Tom) Creed of Albuquerque, NM; daughter Evelyn, sons Joseph DiMartino and Dallas; granddaughter Gabrielle DiMartino; brother Jerry (and Bobbie) of Pampa, TX; and sister Debra (and Eddie) Murphy of Amarillo, TX. Nick will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was a deeply loved son, husband, brother, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 2, 2007, followed by funeral services at 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 3 at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave., Glendale, AZ. Interment will follow at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd.
