No services are planned at this time. Wadley's Funeral Service in Purcell is handling arrangements. Mrs. Cobb was born Jan. 11, 1920, in Breckenridge, Texas, to Neadom and Mary Ann Clifton. She had lived in the Purcell area the past 80 years since moving from Texas. She was raised and attended school in the Staley community south of Purcell. She married John in 1954 in Kingfisher. They opened the first Montgomery Ward in Purcell. Mrs. Cobb retired as assistant property manager. She was a secretary for the Lexington Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Cobb is survived by her daughter, Dolores Sophy and husband, Richard, of Lexington; brother, P.D.
