Born at Guin, Alabama, she moved to Byars in 1917. Her husband, Dr. J.E. Cochran, died in 1966. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Purcell, and the Eastern Star Chapter. Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church, Purcell, with Rev. John Meador officiating. Interment was in the Greenhill cemetery, Maysville, under the direction of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Mrs. Cochran is survived by three sons, William G. and Joseph, both of Oklahoma City; James of Falls Church, Va.; three daughters, Lucille Bishop, Tulsa; Mildred Daman, Timpson, Tex.; Maydell Hunt, Redlands, Calif.; three sisters, Rose of Houston, Miss.; Lois and Pearl, both of Winfield, Ala.; a brother, Joe Green, Birmingham, Ala.; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
