Edgar Laverne Clinton

PLAINVIEW - Edgar Laverne Clinton, 71, died Tuesday, Nov. 23, 1999.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Bartley-Silva Funeral Home Memorial 
Chapel with the Rev. A.C. Hamilton, retired Baptist minister, officiating. 
Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery.

Mr. Clinton was born in Rosedale, Okla., and moved to Tahoka where he was 
raised. In 1955, he moved to Plainview from Lubbock. From 1955 until 1970, 
he was employed by Cloverlake Dairy as a salesman.

In 1970, Mr. Clinton worked for Morton Food Distributor. He was a member 
of Parkview Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge No. 709.

He married Lila Pearl Hollers in 1951 at Lubbock.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Edgar "Skeeter" Clinton Jr. of 
Lubbock, Michael Clinton of Plainview and Kenny Clinton of Nazareth; a 
daughter, Kathy Campbell of Lubbock; a brother, Leroy Clinton of Denver 
City; a sister, Frances Kelsey of Pasadena; and four grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 201 Amarillo St.
