Conway The memorial service for Norean L. Conway will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Eastwood Baptist Church in Medford. Pastor George Nye will officiate. Mrs. Conway, 94, of Medford, died Saturday (Nov. 2, 2002) at her home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Eastwood Baptist Church Sound System Fund, 675 N. Keene Way, Medford, OR 97504. She was born Jan. 16, 1908, in Mountain View, Okla., to Ola and Horace Laird. She attended Mountain View High School in Oklahoma and George Pepperdine College in California. She married Ted Conway, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Conway was a teacher in Shady Cove, White City and Eagle Point. She was a member of the Audubon Society and the National Education Association. Survivors include a sister, Eva Tye; a brother, Herschel Laird; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Trumbull.
