Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic church with Father Hardesty officiating. Interment was in Hillside cemetery under the direction of the Conner funeral home. Born in Kansas, she had been a resident of Purcell for many years. She was a member of the Catholic church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Mary Todd and Mrs. Helen Hon, both of Purcell; six sons, Alber of wayne; Arnold of Lexington; Alton of Purcell, Leo of Mostica, Calif; Leroy of Hobbs, N.M.; three sisters, Mrs. Glen Manuel, Topeka, Kan., Mrs. Nels Balthazor, Clyde, Kan., Mrs. John Madden, Hastings, Neb., a brother, Albert, Clyde, Kans., and 21 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Henry Dumas, Earl Herman, Al Feroli, Robert Stephens, Jody Sparlin and Joe Huddleston. Honorary bearers were: Arthur Sparlin, Henry Eaves, A.H. Edgemore and Homer Boudreau.
