George Martin officiating, assisted by Glenn Williams. Internment was in the family plot in Hillside Cemetary. A native of Alabama, Dunn spent most of his life in the Wayne area before moving to Purcell in 1973. He was a retired rancher and a member of the United Methodist church, Wayne. Mr. Dunn and his wife Bertie were married near Washington, in 1915 and had recently moved in the Broadlawn Manor nursinh home to make their home. They had been married 63 years. He died October 8 following a short illness. In addition to his wife, he leaves two daughters, Viola Cannon, Pheonix, Ariz.; Bettye York, Norman; two sons, J.R. of Wayne; James A. of Jacksonville, Florida; a brother Orville, Purcell; a sister Eula Webb, Pheonix, Ariz.; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. A daughter, Juanita, preceded her father in death. Pall bearers were Don Bell, Homer Mote, Dale Bell, Otis Anderson, Gorgon Bell, and Glenn Woods. Honorary bearers were John Bray, Bill Maynard, Walter Alves and Earl Sherman. --------------------------------------------------------------------
