Flynt were conducted in the Methodist church Sunday, May 11, 1952 at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. Winfred McBride, Clinton, Rev. M.F. Milburn and Rev. W.L. Magar, Hammon, officiating. Emma Rhodeline Hankins, born February 13, 1884 in Fannin County, Texas. Moved to Indian Territory near Ardmore, Oklahoma, in 1888 and later to Johnson, Oklahoma. She joined the First Christian church at an early age, later united with the First Methodist church, Hammon, Oklahoma. She was married to C.T. Flynt December 21, 1904. To this union was born one daughter, Callie Elveria, in the year 1906. She was alsoa step-mother to Bertie, Edna, Mamie, Onan, Eda and Lessie. In 1906 the family moved to Custer County, near Hammon, Oklahoma, where they resided until four months ago when they moved to Clinton, Oklahoma. Mrs. Flynt is survived by her husband of the home address, one daughter, Mrs. W.W. Sketchley; one grand-daughter, Emma Pauline Sketchley, Hammon; five step-children, Mrs. W.M. Stout, Fresno, California; Mrs. E.C. Bailey, Hammon; Mrs. George Ackley, Clinton; Ona and Lessie Flynt, Hammon; 14 step grandchildren; 20 step great grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Gertie Buchanan, Mrs. Willie Evers, all of Sulphur, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Dora Roberts, Oklahoma City; one brother, Charlie Hankins, Chickasha. Mrs. Flynt was preceded in death by a grand daughter, Betty Jo Sketchley, in 1935, and one step daughter, Bertie Hart, Maude, Oklahoma in 1916.
