Fair. Beatrice N. Fair, 82, Purcell, died March 21 in the Purcell hospital following an extended illness. She was born April 12, 1905 to Henry and Elizabeth Walter in Tionesta, Pennsylvania and moved to Enid as a child and lived there until 1941 before moving to Texas, Arizona and California. Three years ago she moved to Purcell. During World War II she was employed at the Vance AFB in Enid. She was a member of the Episcopal Church in Borego Springs, California. Burial was made in Hillside Cemetery, Purcell, following a cremation. McMahans Funeral Service was in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by a niece, Lynn Margagliano of Purcell; a nephew, Louis E. Elyea of Enid; and two great-nieces and two great-nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dolores Kester, Charlotte Fenelon and Gertrude Elyea.
