She was born on March 21, 1922, in Rosedale, Okla., to Asa Wade and Etta Mable Baker Eaton. She loved fishing, playing cards and 42. She was a member of the BPOE Does and Parkland Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the nurses and caregivers who took such loving care of Christina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Asa Wade and Etta Mable Baker Eaton; her husband, John Raymond Hodges; two brothers, Emil Eaton and Austin Eaton; and two sisters, Sally Holland and Rubye Cooper. She is survived by one son, Donald Ray Hodges and his wife, Tracy, of Ranchvale; one grandson, Brock Hodges, of Amarillo; and one granddaughter, Cara Hodges, of Amarillo. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis. Dr. Herbert Bergstrom will officiate. Casket bearers will be Lonnie Eaton, Ronnie Eaton, Kenny Eaton, Benny Barrow, Glen Barrow, Lance Barrow, Bennie Eaton and Danny Barrow. Honorary casket bearers will be all those in the Ranchvale Community. Memorial contributions may be made to the Baptist Children's Home in Portales.
