The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. ====================================================================== Ross Lee Hale Ross Lee Hale, age 77, peacefully passed on to be with our Lord, at his home, at 4 am, on Saturday, June 29th, 2002. He was born in Blanchard, OK, January 26th, 1925, the son of Lanie I. and Alpha Omega Parker-Hale. Ross and Shirley H. Kirkland were united in Holy Matrimony on December 11th, 1949, and had their first and only child in January, 1953. Ross was a 32nd Degree Mason with memberships at Oklahoma Blue Lodge #36, in Oklahoma City, and the Scottish Rite Consistory in Guthrie. He was active as Past Worthy Patron in the Order of the Eastern Star, Westwood Chapter #422. From 1951 until 1962, Ross and Shirley operated the Red Steer and the Red Feather Cafe‘s in the Stockyards City, area. They moved to Edmond, OK, in 1977. Ross retired as Advertising Manager from the Ford Distributing Company in 1982. In 1986, they moved to their current residence in the Village, OK. Survivors include his caring and loving wife, Shirley; their daughter, Shirley Lea Hale-Ryan, and granddaughter, Jessica Lea Ryan, both of Oklahoma City; a grandson, Michael Paul Ryan, wife Sonja, and great granddaughter, Sorita Nicole, all of Edmond. He is also survived by his two loving sisters, Lillian C. Davis, and Madeline M. Lamirand, Oklahoma City; and sister in-law Charity Crocker, of Eunice, NM; and had many nieces and nephews. Ross is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bill, Glenn, and Roy, as well as two sisters, Auverne Shockey and Katherine Brunk. Chapel services will be held at the Guardian North Funeral Home, 11600 N. Pennsylvania, Oklahoma City, on Tuesday, July 2nd, at 9 am, with interim services at the Blanchard Cemetery, in Blanchard, OK. GUARDIAN NORTH 1 1600 N.
