All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +=========================================================================+ Hollingsworth, Harold Glenn "Pete" Harold Glenn 'Pete' Hollingsworth, 77, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born February 14, 1925 in Wayne OK to Otis A. Hollingsworth & Lenora Edith Davenport Hollingsworth. He was a Vet. of WWII and served in the Navy arriving the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor. He grew up in the Wayne area. Attended Capitol Hill High School before joining the Navy. After the Navy he was a Firefighter for Tinker Air Base for 16 years. He was a longtime horse breeder in Norman in the late 70's and 80's. He had lived in Sulphur since 1988. He is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Twyla & Glenn Taylor, OKC, OK; son & daugther-in- law, Otis Glenn & Karen Hollingsworth, Moore, OK; 5 grandchildren & 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, a sister Bertha, a brother Charles, and a sister Odessa who was reported missing in action in 1945. Special thanks to Hospice, especially Treba & Gina for all their care and support. Services will be held on Friday, July 26, 2002 at 10:00 AM at the Clagg Funeral Chapel, Sulpher, OK. Chaplain Richard Chew will be officiating. Services are the direction of Clagg Funeral Home.
