Harris, 86, of Yuba City died March 3, 2006, at Rideout Memorial Hospital in Marysville. Born in Blanchard, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 57 years. He owned Harris Upholstery for 45 years. He was a member and past master of Enterprise Lodge No. 70, F.&A.M. of Yuba City. He was a member of Scottish Rite Bodies and Ben Ali Temple of the Shrine, both in Sacramento. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors include his wife, Zelda Harris of Yuba City; two daughters, Cherri Bell and Jackie Bryan, both of Yuba City; a son, Greg Harris of Yuba City; a sister, Ruby Haraughty of Yuba City; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson. Donations may be made to Craftsman for Christ, 613 Bogue Road, Yuba City, CA 95991; or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817. Services: Visitation is from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City. A service is scheduled at 11 a.m. Thursday at North Valley Calvary Chapel, 613 Bogue Road, Yuba City.
