Persons or organizations desiring to use this material for purposes other than stated above must obtain the written consent of the file contributor. ====================================================================== The Purcell Register - February 8, 1940 Death Takes Former Pioneer Resident Ms. Anna Marie Julian, 87, who was a pioneer resident of Purcell and McClain county, died January 26 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Savillia Miligan, in Guthrie. Mrs. Julian died three days before her 88th birthday. The Julian family lived here for a number of years, part of the time southwest of town and part of the time in the Johnson community. Her sons and daughters, nine of whom survive her, attended the public schools here, when children. Mr. Julian died in 1921 and was buried in Hillside cemetery. Following his death, Mrs. Julian lived with her daughter in Guthrie. Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Milligan, Mrs. Bess Terry of Berkely, Calif., Mrs. Jessie Davy of Orlando, Calif., Mrs. Lula King of Grand Junction, Colo., Mrs. Mamie Pickens of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Lora Clark of Los Angeles. Three sons, W.C. Julian, Robert Julian, and Lloyd Julian, of Detroit, Mich., also survive. Mrs. Robert Julian is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hold and will be remembered as Miss Alice Holt.
