(j520) Author: Charlotte Farr Date: 2 Sep 1999 12:00 PM GMT Surnames: JONES THE PURCELL REGISTER, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 22,1945 Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Rosedale Baptist church for Mrs. Jim Jones, formerly of Rosedale, who has resided the past few years in New Mexico. Rev. A.N. Pirtie conducted the services, assisted by Rev. W.E. Boatwright. Interment was in the Rosedale cemetery. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Mr. Jim Jones, two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Harris and Mrs. Anna Lee Pierce, all of New Mexico; five sons, Delmer of Cushing, Okla., Bill, Archie and Woodrow, all of California, and Sonny, of New Mexico, who has recently been discharged from the service following 33 months overseas. Also a granddaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Blevins, a host of other relatives and friends were present for the funeral except for Mrs. Pierce. --------------------------------------------------------------------
