All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Resthaven Memorial Gardens--Oklahoma City OK KOONCE Calvin Keith ,was born April 1,1960 to Calvin Eugene & Lenora Nadine (Charlton) Koonce in OKC. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on July 14,1998 at 38 years of age He graduated from Newcastle High School in 1976 & from OCU with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1982 & received a Master of Arts from OSU in 1995. He entered the Army in 1979, graduated OCS with honors, Ordnance Officer Basic & Advance courses, graduated from the United States Army Command & Staff College. With a distinguished career in the miitary, he was presently a Major serving as the Deputy Director of Maintenance for the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Calvin & Gina Anderson married in Newcastle, OK in 1979 and to this union two beautiful daughters were born. Survivors include his wife, Gina of the home in Bridge Creek; two daughters, Jane & Jenny both of the home;his parents, Gene & Nadine Koonce of Newcastle; his brother, Anthony Daron of Newcastle ; his sister ,Patty & her husband, Ricky Scott of Newcastle; his nieces & nephews Danny, Casey, Randi, Jacob & Zachary Calvin; numerous aunts, uncles, other relatives and 7 close friends. When God blessed us with Calvin as a son, brother, husband & father, he surely knew what a tremendous impact he would have on so many lives. Calvin will be missed dearly by all of us. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday ,July 17,1998 ,at the First Baptist Church, Newcastle.
