Requiem Mass for the peace of the soul of George Lamprecht was said in Our Lady of Victory Church on March 20,1944 with Rev. L. Hugo officiating. A resident of this district for 43 years. Mr. Lamprecht died in St Anthony's Hospital on March 17 at the age of 64. Born in Germany, the deceased came to the United States and settled in St. Joseph , Tenn. He came to Lexington in 1898 and married Miss Josephine Feuerborn in January 10, 1910. Nine children were born, all of whom survive. They are Rose, Anna Caroline, Mrs. Clarence Hanger of Purcell, Mrs. Ellen Rogers, Mrs. W. C. Dyson, Miss Betty Lamprecht of Oklahoma City, Mrs. Henry Giroux of Lexington, Henry Lamprecht and George Lamprecht Jr. S/2 of San Diego. There were eight grandchildren. Also a sister Mary McQuiggin of Portland Oregon. Pallbearer were Ed Price, Buddy Williams, Joe Brendle, Adolpus Dumas, Don Shea and Joe Parcote.
