LaMaster George Wesley LaMaster, 93, of Olivehurst died June 2, 2000, at Valley Oaks Care Center in Gridley. Born in Wayne, Okla., he was a Mid-Valley resident for 62 years. He served in many offices, including as deacon, in Marysville and Yuba City Pentecostal Holiness churches and was a retired custodian. Survivors include two daughters, Lauretta Hansen of Marysville and Elsie Wilson of Oroville; two sons, Don LaMaster of Oroville and Dennis LaMaster of Texas; three sisters, Dora Linney of Barstow, Anna Mae Gardner of Barstow and Joy Slate of Ontario; one brother, James LaMaster of Hesperia; 20 grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Allie Mae LaMaster; and two sons, Daryl LaMaster and Raymond LaMaster. Services: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Sierra View Mortuary. A funeral service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the mortuary. The Revs. Stan Reynolds and Ray Davis of the Word of Life Church will officiate.
