Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40, with the Rev. Wayne Brown officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Mrs. Mayberry was born March 31, 1917, to Robert and Ethel Edwards Carleton in Stratford. She had lived in Purcell for over 20 years coming from Amarillo. She was raised and attended school in Stratford. She was a homemaker and member of the Pecos Valley Ladies Auxiliary Santa Fe Railroad, the Women's Missionary Union and a member of the Johnson Road Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, cooking, sewing, gardening, shopping and raising things. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Ray Mayberry and Willard Anglin; brothers, Kenneth Carleton of Purcell and Jim Carleton of North Carolina; a sister, Blanche Golden of Purcell; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
