All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== McConnell, Ricky O'Brien Ricky O'Brien McConnell, born October 21, 1947 to Frank McConnell and Syble Burns McConnell at Blanchard, OK, died Monday August 19, 2002. He was 54. Services will be 2:00PM Friday at the Eufaula First Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Dick Gibbons officiating. Interment will be at Bower Cemetery. Arrangements under the love and care of Gregg Funeral Home of Eufaula. He graduated from Star Spencer H.S., Spencer, OK in 1965. After retiring from Tinker AFB, he drove a wrecker for McConnell's Wrecker Service and then moved to Eufaula where he was employed by Eufaula Marine Service. He married Barbara Baxter August 7, 1964 at Del City, OK. His survivors include his father and mother: Frank and Syble 'Burns' McConnell of Oklahoma City, wife, Barbara, of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Tim Seward of Midwest City, son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Sheila McConnell of Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Vickie and Allen Horton of Choctaw; brother and sister-in-law Richard Paul and Gayle McConnell of Midwest City; sister and brother-in-law Sarah and Bruce Simmons of St. Louis, MO; 9 grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Pallbearers are Darral Moon, Eddie Moon, Kerstan Simmons, Donny McConnell, Aaron McConnell, and Frank McConnell. Honorary bearers are Stevie Baxter, Keith Simmons, Kevin Simmons, Kenny Simmons, Kraig Simmons and Kris Simmons.
