Roberts, L. Eileen

L. Eileen passed away on December 20, 2002. She was born Sept. 5, 1924, in 
Payne, Oklahoma, to Jet and Cora Shobert. After completing bachelor's and 
master's degrees with honors at Central State University she taught for 
many years at Kingsgate Elementary School in Moore, Oklahoma, reflecting 
her great love for children. She loved gardening, was a serious 
genealogist traveling as far as London, UK, in her research, and a prize 
winning quilter. She lived in Oklahoma City. She was preceded in death by 
her husband Jack, both parents, and her brother Kenneth Shobert. She is 
survived by her son and daughter, Phil Roberts and Debbie Winstead, and 
their families, her brother, Gene Shobert, her sister, Hellon Leveridge, 
and their families. Services 10 AM, Mon., Dec 23, South Colonial Chapel.
