Clark LANE; spouse: Jewell Garrett WYNN: "ALF RICHEY IS BURIED SATURDAY IN HOUSTON: Services were held last Saturday at 3 o'clock for Thomas Alphus RICHEY, 69, who died June 26 (1969) in Veterans Hospital in Houston, Texas. Mr. RICHEY suffered a heart attack three days prior to entering the hospital. He had been in ill health for the past five years. Rites were conducted at the Sam H. Green Southeast Chapel with Rev. Edward WIGGER and Rev. Jack B. RICHEY officiating. Mr. RICHEY was a former resident of Blanchard, OK. He moved to South Texas in 1933. He was a World War I veteran, a member of the Veterans of WWI, Masonic Lodge 395 AF&AM, Blanchard, Okla,& a member of Queen's Road Baptist Church, Pasadena, Tex. He was a retired yardmaster of Port Terminal Railroad. Survivors include his wife, Jewell WYNN RICHEY; and a daughter, Mrs. Billie June ASHLEY; son-in-law, Jack V. ASHLEY; grand-children: Wm. Thomas ASHLEY, E. Lyle ASHLEY, Mrs. Jerry B. (Jacqueline) PACE; great-grandchildren, Jamie FAUGHN Ashley, Billie J. ASHLEY, Jack C. ASHLEY, Jack B. PACE, Elise V. PACE, all of Pasadena; and two sisters, Mrs. Doyle (Ann) RUTHERFORD, Anaheim, Calif., and Mrs. Myrtle DAVIS, Blanchard, Okla. Brothers were the late Roley David RICHEY & William Clay RICHEY of Blanchard, Okla. Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery, Houston.
