Mr. Rainey was a native of BYARS, OKLAHOMA. He lived in Modesto 47 years. He attended Free Will Baptist Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Rainey of Modesto; children, Gloria Chambers of Herlong and Don Rainey of Missoula, Montana; brother, Jack Rainey of Gregory, Texas; and four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. A funeral service was conducted at the Colonial Chapel of Franklin & Downs, followed by burial at Lakewoof Memorial Park, Hughson, California. --------------------------------------------------------------------
