L. Dean Rentfro

PURCELL, Okla. - L. Dean "Corky" Rentfro, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 
2000.

Mass of Christian burial was at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Our Lady of Victory 
Catholic Church with the Rev. Ross officiating. Arrangements were by 
Yoakum-Damet Funeral Home of Purcell.

Mr. Rentfro was born in Dalhart, Texas and served with the Navy 
during World War II. In 1991, he retired as cable foreman from GTE. 
He then moved to his ranch in Seymore.

Mr. Rentfro was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. He 
moved to Purcell last year.

He married Charlotte Schumacher in 1963 at Amarillo.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Tressa Maden Cornett of 
Norman; two sons, Trigg Rentfro of Amarillo and Scott Rentfro of 
Norman; his mother, Bonnie Rentfro of Hickory Creek, Texas; and a 
sister, Judy K. Rentfro of Hickory Creek; and a granddaughter.
