On the 1910 OK census there is a young boy by the same name in the household in Blanchard. Jesse's funeral register lists her father as Samuel Kirk Davis and mother as Maggie Davison both born Kentucky, same as Jesse. Gilbert's mother Mary Ann Hamil was the daughter of M.E. South minister John Newton Hamil and Mary Ann Farris b.
