M. HURD, 227 South Dixon Street, at 3 o'clock Saturday morning. She has lived in Pottawatomie county since 1899. Funeral services will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church at 1 o'clock Monday afternoon. Rev. T. J. Doss will be assisted by Rev. H. H. Burton in the service. Burial will be at Byars. Mrs. Strawn came to Oklahoma 49 years ago before the state was opened to settlers. Her husband, C. A. Strawn, died in 1913. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist church here. Other relatives include four daughters, Mrs. Mary Coleman, and Mrs. Wilda Williams, of Shawnee, Mrs. Doshie Dyess of Kim, Colorado, and Mrs. W. H. Mullins of Aurora, Colorado. and four sons, F. A. Strawn of Tecumseh, W. E. Strawn of Byars, J. E. Strawn of Paul's Valley and C. A. Strawn of Davis. Fifty seven grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren also survive.
