Eugene Snow officiating. Arrangements will be under the direction of Little's Funeral Home. Mrs. Smith died March 30, at Purcell Municipal Hospital. She was born February 14, 1912, in Asher, Oklahoma, the daughter of James C. START and Maude EUBANKS. She was reared in the Box Community, east of Lexington in Pottawatomie County. She married William (Bill) A. SMITH in 1932 in Purcell and they later made their home in Wayne. Mrs. SMITH was a homemaker and worked with her husband on a farm southeast of Wayne for nearly 30 years. Mr. SMITH preceded her in death in 1969 and four years later she moved to Purcell. She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Smith; and infant son and infant daughter; a daughter-in-law, Anita Smith and brothers and sisters, Ted, Ed, Lavada and Clay. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd SMITH of Purcell and Floyd SMITH and his wife Sharon of Lexington; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Loyal and Doyal Jennings, Denver, Donald and Jerry Abney and Joe Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Grady Henderson, Charlie Sherman and Bobby Dee Huddleston.
