All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +=========================================================================+ Smith Jr., Ralph Randolph Ralph Randolph Smith, Jr., age 71, died Thursday, July 18, 2002 at an Oklahoma City hospital after a sudden illness. He was born August 27, 1930 in Purcell, Oklahoma to R.D. and Winnie Flippo Smith and grew up in Purcell. He served in the US Navy during the Korean conflict. He worked for thirty years at Wilson and Company and another seventeen years for Fox-Smythe trucking company before retiring in 1999. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son Richard. Survivors include his wife Betty of the home, one son Don Smith and wife Mary of Vian, three daughters Theresa Lunow and husband Larry of Binger. Vickie Davis and husband Wayne of Plymouth, MA and Karen Smith of Yukon. Also by eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, four brothers Rudell, Bobby, Darrell, Larry, two sisters Billie Gullion and Eloise Foster. Graveside services will be held at 10 AM on Monday, July 22, 2002 at the Mustang Cemetery under the direction of McNeil's Mustang Funeral Service, Mustang, OK.
