Charles L. Snelson

Charles L. Snelson, 72, of Amarillo died Saturday, Oct. 18, 2003.
Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Faith Baptist Church with Kurtis Spidel, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.
Mr. Snelson was born in Newcastle, Okla. He had worked at Standard Vending for many years where he was president. He later owned Aireco Enterprises. He attended Faith Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Army.
Survivors include four sons, David J. Snelson of Amarillo, Bobby Snelson of Odessa, Larry Snelson of Lubbock and Charles T. Snelson of Amarillo; a daughter, Karen Snelson of Lubbock; a stepson, Matt Artzberger of Los Angeles; four sisters, Cleo Collins of Monahans, Verna Livingston of Odessa, Vera Trussell of Aurora, Colo., and Tillie Webster of Brownwood; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to V.A. Medical Center, 6010 W. Amarillo Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
