Mr. Wasson was born Aug. 30, 1921 in McClain County, Okla. He had been a Yolo County resident for 65 years. He was employed by Al Tandy Ranch, Dudley Stevens Ranch and the Nielson Garage of Esparto. He later retired from the Woodland School District as the head mechanic in 1983. Survivors include Mr. Wasson's daughters, Judy Stone of Woodland and Phyllis Bailey of Esparto; his granddaughters, Dawn Wunder and her husband Lonny and Kim Medina, all of Woodland and Lisa Marbella and her husband Vince of Belfair, Wash.; his great-grandchildren, Sam and Amanda Juarez, Danielle and Nicolas Medina, Bradley and Amy Wunder and V.J. and Catherine Marbella; and his great-great-grandson, Samuel Juarez Jr. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace. Services: A graveside service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 17 at Cottonwood Cemetery in Madison. McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
