Information written down by my Great-Grandmother Elizabeth Smith and left in her bible. In the Year 1899 my Dad, Green Wingfield Young, and Mother, Mattie Nabor, were married, month unknown. My Dad was raised in Georgia at Atonia?, Georgia. He came to Texas in year unknown to me, but he was married at Greenville, Texas. He did not live with his wife long after that. He came to Indian Territory, now Oklahoma. He came to Hugo. He was married there to Tom's mother. She died when Tomas Allen was 3 years old. When she died Dad then Met and married my Mother. My Mother had been married before to Frank Lockley at 18 years old. Her name was Mattie Nabor. They had 3 children. They lost first two babies, but Nettie was 5 years old when my dad, Green Wingfield Young, and mother married. But first let me tell about her mother and dad. Her Mother died when Mother was 15 years old. Her Dad name was John Nabor. Her mother's maiden name was House, but I do not know given name, or year of her death. She was 17 and he married again. They had 2 girl and a boy John Allen Nabor. Mother's sisters were named, well she called them Sweety and Timey. But Mother had own sisters. Mary Clara and s?? Sallie. I don't remember how old my aunt were but Aunt Mary married uncle Tom Tippit. Mother lived in Arkansas when a girl 1899. Mother, dad, Malker? , were moved at Hugo, Indian Territory. John Young my brother were borned in 1900 in June seven day of June in 1900 and one in Oct 30, I was born 1901. next Mary my sister was born in March 1904. My sister Licuie? were born ????? , was 11 years old when she passed away. My brother was John Young and sister was Mary Young. We were supposed to be part Cherokee through my father. Told by Elizabeth (Young) Smith she married James Oscar Smith (son of James Thomas Smith and Nancy Ann Jane Frederick) They resided in Smithville, Oklahoma area from around 1930 until their deaths.
