O"Neal Semons was my Great Grandfather.  His name was Jean Baptiste 
O'neil Simon.  According to his Baptistmal Certificate.  He was born  
in  Eunice, Saint Landry Parish, LA.  He married Augusta Ledet  
January 28, 1897 at the Church of St. Anthony of Padua, Enuice, 
Saint Landry Parish, LA.  This information was from his and Auguste  
Marriage License and  Baptistmal Certificate, which I have copies of.   
Cemetery information came from their obits.

When he came to IDABEL because he spoke no English only French his 
name was changed to Semons. He grew tobacco on his small farm.

Children of Jean Baptiste O'neil Simon (O'Neal Semons) and Auguste Ledet were.

Milton Semons died in 1978 in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada
