Floyd of the State Medical Examiner's staff. Dead is Irving Bohanon, 63, Bethel, and in custody pending action by the District Attorney's office are Noah Noahebi, 21 and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Bethel. Another Bethel man, Emerson Wilson, 58, was also reportedly involved in the altercation and was also severely beaten, Floyd said. This man refused to come with the officers to McCurtain Memorial Hospital, saying that he would get treatment at the U.S. Indian Hospital in Talihina this morning. An autopsy was ordered by District Attorney Don Shaw and the body was transported to McAlester this morning for the autopsy. No ambulance was available to transport the body to McAlester, as Zier Ambulance of Broken Bow holds no contract with the county commissioners. The body was taken to McAlester for autopsy this morning in a station wagon rented to the District Attorney by County Commissioner's District 1 and operated by DA Investigator Ted Adams and Assistant District Attorney Al Cecil. The incident allegedly occurred around midnight, but the county Sheriff and the District Attorney were not called to Bethel until about 2 a.m. this morning. The body was brought to Idabel and the two suspects booked into the county jail shortly after 4 a.m. this morning. No further details are available until the results of the autopsy are known, the District Attorney's office said. Kathy Pitts Collection of Josephine (Bohanan) Smith
