Obituary: Final rites for Baker Set Tuesday = Beatrice E. Baker

Newspaper: McCurtain Gazette, Idabel, Oklahoma Date: January 23, 1984

Beatrice E. Baker, 70, Garvin, died Sunday  (January 22, 1984) in 
McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel.

Born March 24, 1913 at Millerton, she had lived in the area all of 
her life.  She and Luther H. Baker were married Jan. 27, 1932 in 
Valliant. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Luther, she was survived by five 
daughters, Lottie Burks of Idabel, Imogene Barnard, Wanda Bradley and 
Helen Foglesong, all of Del City, and Yvonne Ferran of Albuerque, New 
Mexico.; one brother, Clyde Skelton of Wright City; 13 grandchildren, 
and six great grandchilden.

Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Idabel Norwood 
Funeral Chapel.

Arrangements and burial in the Valliant Cemetery are under the 
direction of Norwood Funeral Home of Idabel.
